ITG are delighted to be the first centre in the UK to gain direct claim status for the BTEC Level 4 Extended Certificate in First Person on Scene (RQF). This means that delegates on future courses will receive their certificates without any delays.
The new BTEC Level 4 Certificate for First Person on Scene (QCF) is the latest qualification launched in 2017 by Pearson and is now available as blended or classroom training. This qualification has been extended and as a result the length of the course has increased to 98 guided learning hours (GLH) and 184 hours of total qualification time (TQT).
Major incident trauma is something that anyone could need to deal with but this course is also aimed at the emergency services. Catastrophic injuries from multiple casualty incidents are something that unfortunately is a real situation that first responders and members of the public may have to deal with.
